FAQs
Keep your wick trimmed to 1/4 inch long to prevent large flames causing hotter heating temperatures and faster melting wax.
If you are experiencing excessive soot, try trimming your wicks to 1/8’’.
Soy wax has a memory and will only burn as far as it did on the previous burn. So, it is important to allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the jar on every burn. This gives you the most burn from your candle.
If your candle is not releasing a strong enough fragrance, try moving the candle to another location. The rule of thumb is a single wick candle is best for smaller rooms, a double wick candle is best for medium sized rooms.
When lighting your candle for the first time, burn until wax melts across the entire surface to the sides of the vessel.
This may take up to 2-4 hours.
To preserve the fragrance of the candle, do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
To maximize scent throw, burn your candle in the desired space for 30 minutes with the door closed.
Do not blow out your candle. Extinguish it with a snuffer, or dip the wick into the melted wax and then straighten the wick to prevent smoking and also prevent hot wax from splattering.
